It’s summer time and that means the kids are out of school. Looking for ways to keep them entertained? Givedaddy has a few prizes in this week’s Kid’s Fun Prize Pack that they’ll love!

The winner will receive a 4 pack of Tickle Me Plant Seeds. We grew these and had a blast tickling them. They’d even close if you picked up the cup and moved it. Very sensitive! It’s so fun to do sciencey things with Max at his age (5). These are great for party favors or classroom activities.

I totally handed this project over to my husband, lover of all things science related. I send him and Max off to find ants, and came back to find my antique record player covered with dirt! They collected a few ants, but no queen, so the experiment was a flop. Fortunately there are plenty of ants in our neighborhood, so they will try again. The kit is cool because you start with this pod and can add on to it, much like you would a hamster cage. One pod of ants is plenty for my household, thank you very much.

The “tickle me plant” is native to Arkansas…we call it sensitive plant. Very pretty when in bloom!

Awesome giveaway! My daughter (6) and son (4) would love this prize. We enjoy growing our garden every year, but the tickle plant sounds like a lot more fun than tomatoes!
